- Grinding or scraping along the tracks
- Rollers wobble visibly
- Door shakes while moving
- Roller wheels are cracked, chipped or damaged
- Door binds at one point in the track

A roller problem can sometimes look like a track-alignment problem. If the door is crooked or a roller has left the track, see off-track repair.
Do not remove loaded hardware casually
Some roller positions are close to brackets that may be affected by spring or cable tension. If you are unsure how the hardware is loaded, have it serviced.
