Common sounds

• Squeaking: rollers, hinges or dry moving points may need attention.
• Grinding: opener gears, rollers or binding hardware may be involved.
• Popping: spring, roller or section movement may be under unusual stress.
• Rattling: loose hardware, track vibration or worn components may be contributing.

When to stop using the door

Stop if noise is accompanied by jerky movement, a visible broken part, a crooked door or a loose cable.
